Together Forever

My grandma passed away on July 1st at the age of 91. It was very sad but also comforting to know she went home to Lord and to be with grandpa for eternity. Her and grandpa were married for 71 years and only had to spend one month and 5 days apart. They had promised each other that whoever went first, the other would follow as soon as possible. They fulfilled that promise. Although they will be greatly missed here on earth, they are where they want to be and surely having a wonderful time.

Happy Birthday Boys!

The boys turned 5 on July 3rd - yes, 5!! It's so hard to believe it has already been 5 years. It still seems like yesterday that we were bringing them home from the hospital and now they will be starting kindergarten next month. They had a firetruck themed birthday party on Saturday and we broke out the waterslide for them. The firetruck cake was Tanner's idea and was actually pretty easy to make. They had a great time and received a lot of fun gifts. My favorites were all the cute clothes!
