What is the deal?

Okay, so anyone who know us is aware that our kids are totally accident-prone. I am really clumsy but thankfully have never been seriously injured. I wish I could say the same for my crazy kids. Yesterday morning Taylor and Ty were crawling on the floor pretending to be dogs and Taylor smacked her face into the back of Ty's head. Taylor had blood gushing from her mouth because her front teeth took the brunt of the impact. They were still intact but very loose. I called Brad and he rushed home from work so I could take Taylor to the dentist to make sure everything was alright. They took x-rays and saw her permanent teeth were ready to come in so all she did was loosen already loose baby teeth. What a relief! He told her once the bruising and swelling goes down to just wiggle, wiggle, wiggle those front teeth and they should be out by Thanksgiving. Luckily we had family pics done last weekend!! I'm thinking for Christmas we should get the kids full face helmets and padded body suits to wear all the time.

Happy Halloween

Halloween this year turned out to be very eventful and memorable. Taylor was a cheerleader, Tanner was a Home Depot race car driver, and Ty was Darth Vader. Tanner got some sort of stomach bug and threw up at school Friday morning so we had to go pick him up. He was really upset because he didn't want to miss the class Halloween party that afternoon. We told him that if he rested and felt better, we would take him back for the party because Brad and I were scheduled to help out in each class. After resting a few hours he told us he felt good enough to go back so off we went. Brad went to Taylor's class and I stayed with the boys in their class. Within 30 minutes of being back, Tanner projectile vomited in the classroom. Needless to say we had to leave. Ty stayed for the party and made sure he brought Tanner home all the goodies. He is such a thoughtful brother. Tanner slept most of the afternoon because there was no way he was going to miss out on trick-or-treating. He made it about 2/3 the way around the neighborhood before he felt like he needed to go home and lay down. Despite his sickness all the kids had a great time and got LOTS of candy.
